Transitions Birth Services is a welcoming, inclusive community midwifery practice providing homebirth care for your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. Lucky Tomaszek, LM, CPM, has spent more than 20 years as a birthworker and more than 10 years as a sexuality educator. For the last two decades, Lucky has focused on providing excellent care and accurate education to the communities she works with.

Comprehensive Care for the Childbearing Year

Care with Transitions includes prenatal visits and appropriate lab work, attendance at your labor and birth, and frequent postpartum visits until your baby is six weeks old. ​

Community Birth

Not everyone wants to give birth in the hospital. For people with low-risk, uncomplicated pregnancies, there is the option of homebirth with a trained birth attendant.

Birth and Sexuality Education

Sexuality and childbearing are two spokes on the big wheel of life, and both can be joyous, messy, complicated, and so much. At Transitions, we believe in ongoing, open education about pregnancy, birth, sex, birth control, pleasure, boundaries, consent and so much more!
