Events at Transitions.

Community building.

Serving our community in as many ways as we can.

Transitions Birth Services wants to be a hub for the birth and birthing community in Milwaukee. Our office hosts many events, including childbirth education classes, lactation education classes, training events for midwives and doulas, open house events where families can connect, and more.

Greater Love Childbirth Education

Tori Freund, student midwife and Greater Love full spectrum doula, teaches their six week class several times throughout the year in the Transitions Birth Services office. This class is appropriate for families regardless of whether you're planning a homebirth, a hospital birth, an induction or a scheduled surgical birth. Learn more here.

Skills Night for local midwifery students (fourth Wednesday of each month)

Midwifery students from the SE Wisconsin area are welcome to join us for skills night each month. The topics change each month, and there is no registration or enrollment fee. If you'd like to be added to the Facebook group, please contact Lucky through the contact form on this site introducing yourself as a student midwife.
